If you want a giant lap dog, Salsa is here for you! He is a cuddler extraordinaire and loves his people. He will keep you company wherever you are in the house if he can but doesn’t cause a fuss if he can’t get to you. Need your feet protected while you work from home? He’s got you! Do you need a dog-shaped blanket while watching a movie on the couch? He’s there with the BEST snuggles.
Salsa knows some basic commands, is housebroken, and is a perfect gentleman in the house all night without being crated. He has shown no interest in counter surfing or inappropriate chewing.
This sensitive guy has had a very tough few months and is looking for a stable home where he can gain his confidence back. He is very shy, so he needs a slow introduction to new people and things. It is rewarding to see this beautiful boy come out of his shell!. He responds well to confident, positive leadership and would do best in a quiet home as an only dog. This boy loves to love, and with patience and support, he could truly blossom!
Salsa was surrendered to GPRS through no fault of his own. One of his adoptive parents passed away, and the other can no longer care for them due to health limitations. He has been dearly loved.
