Meet Jacob, or as his foster mom and dad call him - Jake. Jacob is a tall, handsome and lanky 3-year-old boy. He is currently about 80 lbs but filling out fast! Jacob came to rescue from a cruelty seizure case but holds no grudges and is as happy as can be.

Jacob's favorite outing is to the dog park, and he will jump into the car at every opportunity. Jacob is a little timid at first when meeting new people but warms up quickly and soon starts asking for pets. He is great with all-size dogs as well as older children. He is good with confident cats, but if they run away, he thinks that's a great game of chase!

Jacob is affectionate and loves a lot of attention, whether it is being brushed, getting a pat, or playing with his family. He would especially enjoy having an active companion dog with which he can run around the backyard or dog park. Jacob is housebroken, can be left home without a crate, and settles well after a long walk or trip. Jacob has a big bark (which he does not use often) and an even bigger heart (which he does use often)! Jacob is a lover.
