Great Pyrenees Rescue Society of Texas: Saving and Rehoming Great Pyrenees Dogs in NeedLocated in Texas, Great Pyrenees Rescue Society is a volunteer run, foster-based, 501(c)(3) animal rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of Great Pyrenees dogs whose lives are in danger. Absolutely 100% of all donations go to the dogs that we care for. Most of our dogs come to us from kill shelters around the Central Texas, South Texas and Greater Houston area. We place them in foster homes in the Pacific Northwest and Texas while they are evaluated and rehabilitated until we find a permanent home for them. We transport and adopt dogs to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, California, New Mexico, and Arizona, along with Texas. There are so many more wonderful, majestic, and deserving Great Pyrenees needing help in Texas than we have places for. The only way we can save these precious dogs is with your help. We always need temporary foster homes, donations, volunteers' help and of course if you can give a dog a permanent home, you'll complete our dream. Izzy now Rosie is a sweet 3 year old girl. She loves to play and adores the company of other dogs. She was surrendered to us because of some life changes with her owners. She walks well on leash and has had professional obedience training. She spent at least two days a week at doggie daycare. She loves people but must have a home with another large playful dog. Say hello to Bowie. When Bowie came to us from a Texas animal shelter as a stray, he was a mess - dirty, matted, malnourished and his coat was dull and thin in places. But after some good groceries, lots of TLC and a trip to the groomer, you have a dog that is a diamond in the rough. He has a gorgeous face and tail that shows what this handsome boy will look like when he is finished being polished!

Meet Mr. Social Butterfly, aka Radish. He is super curious, playful, very social, and friendly. He's good on walks and doesn't pull much except when he wants to say hi to other dogs and people.
Radish was born around August 2021. He weighs about 98 lbs and has a gorgeous white coat with tan, yellow and fawn color markings. His canine DNA test results were Great Pyrenees, mix with Labrador Retriever and German Shepherd.
