Miss Priss is one of those dogs who makes you smile just by looking at her. She’s a beautiful brindle Boxer mix, tall and leggy, and once she decides you’re her person, she is ALL about the hugs and kisses. She can be a little shy when she first meets new people, but she warms up quickly with a calm approach and a little patience. After that, she’s sweet, affectionate, and very happy to be close to you. She does have a higher energy level, so she’ll do best with an active family and ideally an active dog buddy who’s down for some daily shenanigans. And did we mention she’s smart? Miss Priss is the type who figures things out fast—which is adorable until you realize she’s also a talented jumper, so she’ll need a securely fenced yard and a home that appreciates an athletic superstar. Miss Priss has been at the rescue since the day she was born, so this is the only home life she’s known. Because of that, she’s going to need a family that understands she may need a little time to settle in and feel comfortable.
