If sunshine could wag its tail, it would probably look a lot like Penny. Born around February 2025, this sweet young girl has a silky smooth coat, a gorgeous face, and a smile that could probably get her out of just about anything. One look at her fabulous grin and you already know—this girl is here to have fun. She's the kind of dog who looks like she woke up in a good mood and decided everyone else should be in a good mood too. After being found wandering in a rural area, Penny was taken in by a kind family who hoped to find her owner. When no one came forward, Penny simply got busy being her delightful self. She fit right in with the resident dogs, did well with the livestock, and especially adored the family’s six-year-old daughter. Penny has a happy-go-lucky way about her that makes her feel like the fun friend everyone wants around. She loves playing with dogs both big and small, gets along well with cats, and has the kind of sweet, social nature that makes her an easy addition to many kinds of homes. Penny is house trained and crate trained, which means she brings both the sparkle and the manners. She also loves car rides and is perfectly happy to sit back and watch the world roll by like she’s on her own little sightseeing tour. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, easygoing dog who would thrive in a home with kids, other dogs, and maybe even a cat or two, Penny may be your perfect match. This bubbly girl is clearly under the impression that her forever home is going to be the best thing ever. Honestly, she’s probably right.
